Infrared sauna
Infrared sauna in Batam: warmth on your existing supply
A one to two person carbon-panel cabin at 45-60 degrees that runs on 2,200-5,500 VA and goes in over a single day.
An infrared sauna Batam cabin holds 45-60 degrees and warms the body directly rather than the air, which is why it works at 1.7-2.4 kW on an ordinary supply. It suits apartments in Nagoya, rented houses in Tiban and anyone refused a PLN upgrade. Indicative IDR 30-70 million, installed in one to two days.

How does an infrared sauna differ from a hot room?
A dry sauna heats the air to 70-90 degrees and the air heats you. An infrared cabin runs the room at 45-60 degrees and puts the energy into your body through carbon panels, so you sweat at a temperature that feels survivable in a place where the outdoor air is already 32 degrees. People who find a full hot room too much, and older users in particular, tend to prefer it.
The trade-off is honest: no steam on the stones, no hot blast when you throw water, and a different social feel. If that ritual is the point, the dry sauna is the right room and the extra electrical work is worth it.

Who chooses an infrared sauna in Batam?
Renters, mostly. Apartment residents in Nagoya and Jodoh who cannot touch the building supply. Households in older Tiban and Sekupang houses connected at 2,200 VA where a PLN Batam upgrade would mean rewiring the whole property. Expatriate managers on two-year postings who want a cabin they can hand to the next tenant or take with them.
The other group is people short of space. A 1x1 m single cabin fits a bedroom corner or a landing in a Batam Centre cluster house where nothing else would go, and the whole installation is done between breakfast and dinner.
Electricity: 1.7-2.4 kW where an upgrade is impossible
An infrared sauna draws 1.7-2.4 kW at the panels, which sits inside a 2,200-5,500 VA connection with the air conditioning still running. That single fact is why the product exists: no application to PLN Batam, no upgrade fee, no waiting for a meter change.
We still do the electrical work properly. A dedicated circuit with its own breaker and an ELCB, heat-resistant cable to the panel terminals, and a check on the existing consumer unit, because plenty of older houses on the island have circuits that were never intended to run anything continuously. Running cost is modest, an indicative IDR 100,000-250,000 a month at one or two sessions a day.
Fitted in one to two days across the island
Cabins arrive as finished panels from Batam Kota. In Sekupang, Batu Aji or Nongsa the crew typically carries in, assembles, wires and commissions inside a day, two if the circuit needs extending from a distant consumer unit. Nothing is chased into walls and nothing is glued to the floor.
Pairing is common: an infrared sauna plus a cold plunge gives you the hot-cold contrast on a domestic supply, indicative IDR 75-160 million for the pair. Indicative figures for every combination sit on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions
Is 45-60 degrees actually hot enough to sweat?
Yes, though it takes longer to start. Most users sweat freely after ten to fifteen minutes because the panels heat the body directly. Sessions run 30-45 minutes rather than the 10-15 typical of a hot room.
Can it go in an air-conditioned bedroom?
It can, and it often does. The cabin is insulated and sealed, so the surrounding room stays comfortable. We site it away from the air conditioning outlet so the unit is not fighting the panels through the cabin wall.
How long do carbon panels last?
Panels are a long-life component with no moving parts, and the controller is the item most likely to need attention first. Both are stocked in our Batam Kota store, and the warranty terms cover the installation for two years.
